In May 2026, the first graduate of the joint Chinese-Kyrgyzstan logistics training program - 50 specialists - successfully completed their training. The program covers areas such as customs clearance, international transport, multimodal transport, cold chain management and cross-border e-commerce operations. The training is conducted jointly by Kashgar University and the Kyrgyz State Technical University, combining classroom training with practice at border crossings, and is aimed at training bilingual (Chinese / Kyrgyz / Russian) complex specialists. Graduates are given priority employment in Chinese-Kyrgyz logistics enterprises, serving such areas as customs clearance at the border, transportation on dedicated lines, operating foreign warehouses and customer service. The shortage of logistics personnel in the field of Chinese-Kyrgyz logistics exceeds 2,000 people. Joint training mitigates the personnel crisis, increases the level of professionalization of the industry and provides intellectual support for the long-term development of logistics between China and Kyrgyzstan.
