In the first quarter of 2026, the volume of exports of agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan to China increased by 60% compared to the same period last year, reaching 80 thousand tons. The main product categories are cherries, walnuts, honey, beef, lamb, vegetables and fruits. The cold chain logistics system between China and Kyrgyzstan continues to improve. Kyrgyzstan has established a control warehouse in Wuqia County, combining the functions of pre-cooling, storage and quarantine control; refrigerated transport provides full temperature monitoring with data traceability. There are special inspection areas for agricultural products at border crossings, mutual recognition of quarantine certificates is in effect, and customs clearance time has been reduced to two hours. Dedicated refrigeration lines from Urumqi and Kashgar go directly to Bishkek and Osh with delivery times of 3–4 days, the level of losses has decreased from 15% to 5%. Cold logistics of agricultural products is becoming a new growth point for Chinese-Kyrgyz trade, enriching the product supply in the markets of both countries.
