In the first quarter of 2026, cross-border e-commerce orders between China and Kazakhstan grew by 65% year on year. Chinese 3C electronics, household goods, cosmetics and clothing are in high demand in Kazakhstan, while at the same time exports of Kazakh flour, honey, dairy products and nuts to China are growing. The main logistics model is a combination of “dedicated cross-border lines + foreign warehouses”. Dedicated lines operate stably: Urumqi - Almaty / Astana, Xi'an - Almaty / Astana, Lianyungang - Almaty / Astana with delivery times of 5-7 days. The area of foreign warehouses in Almaty exceeds 100 thousand square meters, dropshipping, return and exchange services are provided, local delivery is carried out in 1–2 days. Kazakh e-commerce platforms Wildberries, Ozon and Kaspi have opened registration for Chinese sellers; in 2026, the number of Chinese sellers grew by 80% year on year, and logistics infrastructure continues to improve.
